Cold Room Doors

Discover energy-efficient cold room and freezer doors featuring high-density PU insulation for optimal thermal control.

Cold room doors are high-insulation industrial doors designed for temperature-controlled areas such as food processing, HoReCa, pharmaceuticals and logistics to reduce heat loss, prevent condensation/frost and maintain hygiene. Compared with standard interior/exterior doors, they feature door leaf/frame designs that minimize thermal bridges, tight sealing gaskets, anti-freeze heating options and emergency release hardware.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Are cold room doors different from standard doors?

Yes. They are engineered to reduce heat loss and condensation with high insulation, advanced sealing, anti-freeze heating solutions, hardware suited to heavy traffic and inside emergency release systems.

How do we prevent icing and condensation on doors?

Use frame/side-guide/threshold heaters, heated air curtains or defrost systems; quick open–close operation and tight guide design also reduce frosting.

Is an emergency release mandatory?

Yes, in cold rooms being able to open the door from the inside is critical for safety. Interior emergency release handles/push-rods and phosphorescent markings are used for this purpose.

Which accessories are recommended?

Depending on operating conditions: keypad lock, kick plates/impact guards, view window (porthole), heated elements (frame/threshold) and door switches.
